 areer in stand-up comedy this class is for you. Get more comfortable on st
 age\, and in front of groups. Learn the ins and outs of joke writing\, and
  what works for you the comedian. Learn what bookers are looking for\, and
  how to get booked at any comedy club. Learn how to host a show\, so that 
 you are always in demand as a comedian. OR\, just be the funniest person a
 t every social gathering you're invited to. All of this culminates in a sh
 ow for family\, friends\, and the general public on a REAL comedy club sta
 ge. Student perks include: -Free tickets to all Comedy Plex shows during t
 he class session About your instructor: Angie McMahon is a veteran of the 
 Chicago Improv and Sketch comedy scene. She has been teaching sketch writi
 ng and stand up at the famed Second City for 11 years. She founded CIC The
 ater\, where she was the Executive Director and Board President for 13 yea
 rs. Her comedy Festival “Snubfest” ran for 11 years with such amazing 
 alumni like TJ Miller\, Cameron Espisito\, and Josh Johnson to name a few.
  Notable sponsors of the festival included MySpace Comedy\, Audible\, Roof
 Top Comedy\, Mikey O Productions\, Zanies\, Laugh Factory\, Lincoln Lodge\
