 n stage\, and in front of groups. Learn the ins and outs of joke writing\,
  and what works for you the comedian. Learn what bookers are looking for\,
  and how to get booked at any comedy club. Learn how to host a show\, so t
 hat you are always in demand as a comedian. OR\, just be the funniest pers
 on at every social gathering you're invited to. All of this culminates in 
 a show for family\, friends\, and the general public on a REAL comedy club
  stage. Student perks include: -Free tickets to all Comedy Plex shows duri
 ng the class session About your instructor: Angie McMahon is a veteran of 
 the Chicago Improv and Sketch comedy scene. She has been teaching sketch w
 riting and stand up at the famed Second City for 11 years. She founded CIC
  Theater\, where she was the Executive Director and Board President for 13
  years. Her comedy Festival “Snubfest” ran for 11 years with such amaz
 ing alumni like TJ Miller\, Cameron Espisito\, and Josh Johnson to name a 
 few. Notable sponsors of the festival included MySpace Comedy\, Audible\, 
 RoofTop Comedy\, Mikey O Productions\, Zanies\, Laugh Factory\, Lincoln Lo
