Join the fun and excitement with a dynamic improv class designed specifically for kids ages 13-17 and led by the talented Warren Phynix Johnson! Warren Phynix Johnson, a seasoned improv performer and passionate teacher, brings his extensive experience and boundless energy to the classroom, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every child can shine. Throughout the class, students will learn the fundamentals of improv, including:

About your instructor:
Warren Phynix Johnson has a vast array of experience in the field of entertainment; he was introduced to this business by his father Chicago Tribune Entertainment journalist Allan Johnson(R.I.P.). From performing in countless plays onstage in works penned by Shakespeare to Charles Mee, to writing and directing his own stage production at Madlab Theatre in Ohio. In the world of Chicago improv this veteran of the game has performed at The Annoyance, Comedy Sportz Chicago, old iO, new iO (in independent improv shows/Harold teams ), The Laugh Factory(with Bastards Of The Underground as the theater’s house team)and Second City TourCo. Currently he’s a member of Pimprov, Bastards Of The Underground and creative consultant/talent with Mediatainment. Warren can be heard on Que4.org every Thursday 11am-1pm (Cst) in B.A.D.Waves Radio, where he talks an eclectic array of nonsense on and off the cuff. He's also appeared in commercials for Comcast, McCafe, Fox(So You Think You Can Dance) and Esquire Network.
