Are you ready to take the next step in your stand-up?
You have the material. You’ve done the shows. You’re getting the laughs. So why does it feel like you’re not getting better?
The Lvl Up is a Comedy 102 class designed for comics who already have shows under their belt and roughly 10 minutes of material, but want to learn the finer points of commanding a stage.
Taught by Alexander Tsakanikas, a comedian of 12 years who has performed at every major comedy club in Chicago, in three countries, and at countless indie shows across the U.S., this class is about getting past that next mental and creative block — without spending years banging your head against the wall trying to figure it out yourself.
Over five weeks, you’ll work on:
⭐️Writing and tightening jokes
⭐️Improving and restructuring your set
⭐️Resetting a room when something doesn’t land
⭐️Using your whole body onstage
⭐️Timing, delivery, and stage presence
⭐️Getting the most out of every performance
Starting this September as part of Comedy Plex Comedy Classes, this five-week intensive culminates in a live showcase at Comedy Plex.
You’ve put in the stage time. Now learn how to Lvl Up.
Student perks include:
-Performance in front of a LIVE comedy club audience.
-Free tickets to all Comedy Plex shows during the class session
